How to Use
- Wet with warm water: Warm water opens the hair cuticles, allowing the conditioning ingredients to penetrate better.
- Lather and massage: Work it deep into the roots and massage the skin underneath to exfoliate dead skin cells.
- Let it sit: Leave it in your beard for 1–2 minutes while you wash the rest of your body. This gives the conditioner time to actually soften the coarse hairs before washing it down the drain.
- Rinse thoroughly: Make sure all the lather is gone; leftover residue can clog pores and cause irritation.
When a 2-in-1 might not be enough: If you have a particularly long, thick, or extremely coarse beard, a rinse-out 2-in-1 might not provide enough heavy, all-day hydration. In that case, you will likely still need to apply a few drops of beard oil or a leave-in beard balm after you towel dry to lock in moisture.
